Biography
Ngoc Bui is currently a first-year CS Ph.D. student at Yale University, where he is very fortunate to be advised by Prof. Rex Ying. Before joining Yale, he was a research resident at VinAI Research, where he had two wonderful years working under the supervision of Prof. Viet Anh Nguyen. Prior to that, he received a bachelor degree in Computer Science and master degree in Data Science from Hanoi University of Science and Technology.
His research interests are machine learning and deep learning with a focus on their responsible use in real-world systems where humans and high measurement uncertainties exist in the loop. Recently, He has been focusing on multimodal large language models and graph representation learning.
